A Fun Unique, Workshop led by award-winning artist - Dr. Jim McIntosh -$40 ( light lunch)

Let’s look at a different way to paint...called Impressionism. In short, it is an artist’s emotional impression. It does not aim to be accurate in detail. The palette we use is basically pure colors, tints and white of the paper. We use less palette mixes, instead mix on the paper using larger brushes and strokes with the whole arm instead of the wrist. We will be painting a semi-abstract landscape with a local farm house and surroundings. In the allotted time we will have a complete painting. Bring what you have to paint in watercolor.. We will furnish the paper and will have some needed brushes, paint and other things you might not have.  Just come to have FUN and experience Impressionism and take home a beautiful painting ready to frame.
